How We Work…
You can request us to contact you via one of the links throughout our website or alternatively you can contact us by phone, email or just come over for a chat while we’re out and about (if it’s safe to do so). We respond to phone and email enquires within the working day and we can usually arrange an appointment within 2 days. Once we’ve made a site visit and discussed your job we try to send a quote by email 24 hours after the meeting.
We’ll be clear about what is achievable and what’s not and also how long you can expect to wait until the work is complete. Only Luke will quote the work so you know exactly who you are dealing with. When the work is booked in you can expect us on the date and time agreed to complete the tasks.
Once the job is complete, you are happy and have received our invoice you will have 7 working days to pay using cheque, cash or BACS (bank transfer).
Safety
We take safety and security very seriously. Our machines and kits are rigorously tested and maintained. Additionally, all our staff wear Personal Protective Equipment and a company uniform while working on site.
Legislation
Landbased Services carries out all work to comply with the current legislation that governs the arboriculture industry including: The Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981, Town & Country Planning Regulations, Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER), Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER), BS 3998:2010
Caring For The Environment
We take every effort to minimise our impact on the planet throughout our day to day workload. We recycle 100% of our woodchip and logs, use biodegradable oils where possible and use Aspen Alkylate fuel in our most recently purchased machines which has 99% less harmful hydrocarbons compared to petrol.
